Book Review The House in the Picture and Abbot Thomas' Treasure This week I read The House in the Picture and Abbot Thomas' Treasure. This genre of this book is horror. At first, I was reading without knowing what the genre of this book was. As I read on, I gradually realized that the stories of this book were horror, and I regretted reading this book before boing to bed at night. However, the contents of these stories were interesting. So, I wrote down one quote from each of the two stories. The first is: ‘Now the picture has told you the true story.’ (quote from The House in the Picture p.27) This is the last sentence in the story. Even though it’s strange that the picture changed in various ways over time, I felt that it was even stranger that the change represented the horrific events of the past.
