My kind cousin

Last Sunday, I went to Fukuoka with my aunt. But when we were heading for my cousin's house, I was getting worse.
My cousin was very kind, so she cared about me. For a while later, I got better and my cousin and I ate ice cream together.

Once upon a time, there lived a kind shoemaker and his wife. Times were hard and they became very, very poor.  One day, they had only enough leather to make a single pair of shoes, so he was sad. But a magical thing happened. When the shoemaker woke up, the leather had already been turned into a fancy pair of shoes!  Life went on like this for many months and they became very, very rich. They thought, "Who was making all the fancy shoes?" One night, they found out two little elves. The elves very cute when they make shoes and dance a joyful jig and left. I think it's good that the shoemaker and his wife became happy. Book Review The Signalman and the Ghost at the Trial    I read 'The Signalman and the Ghost at the Trial'. This story's genre is horror. Both of the books in this book are horror stories, but what I felt after reading was completely different. First, I'll talk about story of  'The Signalman'.    'I had not said those words. I had thought them. They were words in my mind. ' This is the quote of this story. After reading this story, I felt very sad because at the end of the story, the signalman died suddenly. I couldn't understand why he died, but there are some signals that predicted some accidents would happen in the story.    'Suddenry, somebody put his hand on my arm. I looked round, but there was nobody there. I was alone.' Second, I'll talk about 'The Ghost at the Trial'. This story is also strange. Book Review   Seasons and Celebrations       I read “Seasons and Celebrations”. Today, even in Japan, there is a custom to celebrate and enjoy overseas festival. For example, Valentine’s Day, Easter, Halloween, Christmas and so on. When I was little, I was looking forward to those events every year. However, many Japanese probably do not know their origin. This book tells us about not only their origins but also the true way of celebrating. Among the many events that have been introduced in this book, this time I will introduce Christmas.     For the Japanese, Christmas is December 24 th rather than 25 th . People decorate their homes and shops with illuminations and eat chicken for dinner. Then, on the morning of the 25 th , the children will check to see if they have received a gift from Santa Claus.
